BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS, YEAST INFECTIONS AND UTI’S

BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS, YEAST INFECTIONS AND UTI’S
Shhhhhh...I let you in on a little secret, your vagina is home to specific vagina-friendly microbes that have their own little eco-system going on down there (yes, like a whole new world). Any imbalance in the delicate production of a combination of lactic acid and hydrogen peroxide can cause a problem called bacterial vaginosis (we all know about this, don't we).
Surprised? Bacteria and yeast simply can’t thrive in a healthy, alkaline internal ecosystem and with a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods. If you eat the right wholesome foods, you are also minding your gut microbiome, and by minding your gut microbiome, you are taking care of your vaginal ecosystem.

Your vaginal microbiome balance starts in your gut!
Bacteria and yeast cannot thrive in a healthy internal ecosystem that is alkaline and with a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods. If you follow the Flo protocol with your diet, avoid chemical-laden products, and only sparingly use unnecessary medications, then you are also minding your gut microbiome, and by minding your gut microbiome, you are taking care of your vaginal ecosystem.
If you have used a lot of antibiotics and creams in the past to try and get rid of these problems, it’s likely you have a vaginal microbiome imbalance and compromised gut microbiome as well!

What is chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll plays an important role in making plants green and healthy. It also has vitamins, antioxidants, and therapeutic properties that may benefit your body.
You can get chlorophyll from plants or supplements. Supplements may be more effective, as chlorophyll doesn’t survive digestion long enough for absorption. Chlorophyll supplements are actually chlorophyllin, which contains copper instead of magnesium.
Luckily, chlorophyllin has similar properties to chlorophyll. The marketed benefits are:

stimulating the immune system
eliminating fungus in the body
detoxifying your blood
cleaning your intestines
getting rid of bad odors
energizing the body
preventing cancer

Natural chlorophyll
The you can make your own liquid chlorophyll supplement by using parsley and water. Three ounces of parsley makes about 2 tablespoons of chlorophyll. Get the recipe here. You can then use your homemade chlorophyll for a tasty smoothie recipe, like from the blog The Green Lean Bean.
Plants that are fresh and green are probably a good source of chlorophyll. This means vegetables and herbs such as:

wheatgrass
green beans
spinach
parsley
arugula
peas
leeks

A The Natural Remedy I have used and recommend is:

I want to share some of my natural remedy recommendations that will get rid of the pain, the itching, and are also vaginal microbiome-friendly. If you don’t have the time or energy to make your own liquid chlorophyll, you can simply buy a bottle of the green stuff.  I use: Bernard Jensen Products.  Bernard Jensen's chlorophyll solution is made from the finest Alfalfa leaves available. This produces a product so high in quality you can actually taste the difference. Each tablespoon supplies 70 mg of water soluble chlorophyllin’s. Water soluble is important as it is quickly absorb into the body and you get the full benefits of the chlorophyll.

Good luck on your journey!!!
